We GO because that’s what Jesus did. He left where He was (Heaven) and to came to us (on Earth) in order to give us life. While He was here He showed us how to live… by loving people. When His work was done and He was heading back to Heaven He challenged us to GO and help people become like Him.
Jesus said to go to Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Think of it like this… GO to your neighborhood, your home town, your region and all over the world. We are meant to GO to all of these places. Sometimes we GO to areas close to home.
GO Mexico happens to be a trip to the ends of the earth. So, we GO because Jesus did and we want to be like Him.
TWO TRIP OPTIONS! ONE AMAZING MINISTRY PARTNER
These trips are both intergenerational for adults and for students. High school students can come without being accompanied by their parent. Middle school students must be accompanied by a parent.
For high school students traveling without a parent, a Temporary Guardianship form must be provided to our team.
The trips are centered around running a vacation bible school for kids in the community, some light construction projects, a day of pampering and serving women of that community and participating in the rice and beans ministry.
On-site at both locations, we will work alongside ministry partner, Eli House Ministry and support their mission to love and serve local children and their families.
This trip costs $1100 with $200 deposit required at registration. This cost includes airfare, construction materials, and all expenses while in Mexico.
It does not include a passport, travel meals, spending money and supplies you provide for your VBS project. For passport, info click here. There are 2-3 travel meals and spending money is minimal (maybe under $20).
