2018 Fall Baptism Stories

“…I had a daughter 2 years ago. It changed my entire life. The whole pregnancy process made me really realize how beautiful life is and God made the entire process perfect. Only he could be so detailed. He gave me the more precious gift. He loves me and my daughter THAT much. I want to teach her to love Jesus and raise her in a Christian home. She deserves the best and I need Jesus to help me be my best. I am letting go of all my guilt and trusting in Jesus. I love him and am looking forward to what lies ahead in the building my relationship with him and learning more about him.”

“…For many years, I have kept my Faith mostly internal and found it a bit awkward to openly express in public. Last service had a message that spoke into me and I was moved to express my faith in the public baptism. I was very happy to share the experience of baptism with my two kids, Joe and Alexa. I’m looking forward to God’s continued blessing into our lives.”

“I listened to the sermons each week for a while and I began to realize that God made sense to me. I was begging to understand how God fit into my life. I joined Celebrate Recovery because of a personal problem in my life. Participating in CR cause my faith in God to EXPLODE through the roof! Today I commit my whole life to God. I am a complete believer in Jesus Christ. He is truly my Lord and Savior. I was born again!”

“I made my decision to follow Jesus and thirst in him as my Savior when I was 9 years old.  I accepted Christ in the summer of 2006 before I went into fourth grade. The experience in my life that led me to making my decision was when I was in Sunday school, I was taught the bible verse John 3:16. I then believed that God loved me and sent his Son to die on the cross for me so that I may have eternal life.”

“…I don’t know exactly when I decided to follow Jesus, but the decision that I believed was when my wife was diagnosed with stage-4 breast cancer. Seeing her faith and trust in the Lord while going through 2 surgeries, chemo, radiation and the effects she had, made me realize that he does answer our prayers. He is with us going through rough times. My wife is now cancer free and we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary this past June.”
