We put great value in students and feel God’s call to be in their lives.
Today, there is so much pressure on high school students to achieve, be busy, fit in, succeed and grow up. Often times, the idea of having a connection with Jesus and following His way of living is thought of as irrelevant or unrealistic; if it is even thought of at all. Students have a great opportunity to bring Christ into their daily lives which include sports, band, school, the arts, clubs, and time with friends. It is very important for us to help students navigate how to live as though their life is their mission.
We have leaders that want to pour their hearts and lives into the students and help the students figure out how to be Jesus in everyday life. We believe that relationships change lives. Being in community with other students that are on the same journey as them and having leaders go on the journey with them can play an integral role in their spiritual growth.
Some of the ways we develop this community are through GoCos (Go Communities), weekend retreats, and mission trips. I invite you to join us during the 11:00a.m. weekend gathering in the student section.
During the 11:00 a.m. Sunday gatherings, we’ll be in the auditorium front and center as a group to worship together with other high schoolers and leaders. Feel free to join us anytime! Hope to see you there!
I pray that all students develop relationships with leaders and other students to do life with, to talk about God with, to be challenged, and ultimately grow in their journey with Christ. Thank you so much for checking out the vision and direction God has given us.
